In this section, we’ll share some of the best lessons we’ve learned about creating quizzes that work:
- The “3 minute rule”
- How long should you make your quiz?
- The 50/50 split –
- Results are at least as important as questions
- Spend half your time on questions, half writing great results
- Tone matters – people will share only what makes them look good (so make them mostly complimentary – maybe a bit sassy or funny)
- Title tips:
- Odd numbers work better: “11 weird facts about cats” is better than “Top 10 things”
- It’s all about ‘you’: “11 weird facts you didn’t know about cats”
- Challenge the user: “How much do you actually know about cats?”
